Graveney

Sheri was first elected to represent Graveney in 2022, the ward where she lives.

Sheri was the National Secretary of Labour Students, and has been an active campaigner her whole life, joining the Labour Party aged 16.

Billy is a lifelong activist in the Labour and Trade Union movement.

Billy has helped increase the wages of workers in all corners of the borough, delivering the Business Rates Grant for businesses who pay the London Living Wage, and ensuring all care workers in the borough are paid at least the London Living Wage

Prior to becoming a Councillor Billy worked the trade union CWU for 25 years.

Graveney

Linda has been a Graveney Councillor since 1986 and has been a local champion for her ward for four decades.

Across her years of public service, Linda has led, created and coordinated numerous social action projects locally, including NEMCA, NE Mitcham Parks Friends Group, Figges Marsh Junior Park Run and the Faith in Action Homeless Project.

Linda is an ex-writer and teacher and coordinates the annual ‘Graveney in Bloom’ flower contest in her ward, adding colour to the streets of her ward each and every year.

Mitcham and Morden MP

Siobhain has lived in the constituency of Mitcham and Morden her whole life and was elected as the Member of Parliament for Mitcham and Morden in 1997.

Siobhain is renowned as one of the country’s hardest-working MPs, and regularly leads the list of MPs who have written the most letters, taking up thousands of new cases on behalf of constituents every year. She has led a variety of campaigns, including the opening of a new train station at Mitcham Eastfields, saving St Helier Hospital, introducing new community ‘Safer Neighbourhood’ police teams, and tackling graffiti, abandoned cars, vandalism and other anti-social behaviour.
