Stephen has been a Ravensbury councillor since 2003.
Stephen has a long record of delivery across the borough, including his work on the new Bishopsford Road Bridge, lowering the speed limit on St Helier Avenue, securing a local surgery and the green gym in Ravensbury Park and supporting improved facilities at Tooting & Mitcham FC.
Stephen has helped improve transport accessibility and options across the borough, including delivering step free access at numerous Merton stations, and bringing more cycling options for residents in Merton.

First elected in 1986, Peter has fought for the protection and improvement of health services in Merton for four decades. Peter has led the administrations fight to protect St Helier Hospital, and the retention of children cancer services at St George’s hospital.

Dame Siobhain McDonagh MP
Mitcham and Morden MP
Siobhain has lived in the constituency of Mitcham and Morden her whole life and was elected as the Member of Parliament for Mitcham and Morden in 1997.
Siobhain is renowned as one of the country’s hardest-working MPs, and regularly leads the list of MPs who have written the most letters, taking up thousands of new cases on behalf of constituents every year. She has led a variety of campaigns, including the opening of a new train station at Mitcham Eastfields, saving St Helier Hospital, introducing new community ‘Safer Neighbourhood’ police teams, and tackling graffiti, abandoned cars, vandalism and other anti-social behaviour.
