Councillor Syeda Gives Maiden Speech As St Helier Councillor

Following her by-election victory on 4th July 2024, Councillor Shuile Syeda personally thanked residents of St Helier for putting their faith in her to stand up for their community.

Pledging to work day in and day out, Councillor Syeda committed to putting St Helier residents first, breathe new life into the ward, and continue the fight for St Helier hospital.

Shuile Syeda - Labour Party: 1865 votes (48%)

Pippa Maslin - Green Party: 872 votes (22%)

Gillian Lewis-Lavender - Conservative Party: 687 votes (18%)

Asif Ashraf - Liberal Democrats: 471 votes (12%)
